Advocating for Affordable Housing

Creating and preserving affordable housing extends beyond the communities we manage, it also means advocating for policies that strengthen our industry and the residents we serve.

This month, we’re recognizing our Legal Focus Group, a dedicated team of professionals who volunteer their time and expertise to stay informed on legislative issues impacting affordable housing. Throughout the year, the group researches proposed legislation, monitors policy changes, and collaborates on ways to help ensure the voices of our communities are represented.

Each year, members of the Legal Focus Group travel to Tallahassee to meet with Florida legislators and industry leaders, advocating for policies that support affordable housing providers and expand opportunities for the families, seniors, and individuals who rely on affordable housing.

Their commitment helps keep Royal American informed, engaged, and prepared as our industry continues to evolve. We are grateful for their passion, leadership, and dedication to making a meaningful difference, not only for our company, but for the communities we proudly serve.
