National Night Out Event

National Night Out is August 5th – Get Ready!

Now is the time to start planning to host your community event!  National Night Out is a nationwide initiative that brings neighbors and first responders together

to promote safer, more connected communities. All sites are encouraged to participate!

While the official date is Tuesday, August 5, 2025, events can be hosted any time during August.

First Step: Register Your Site
All participating communities must register with the National Association of Town Watch:  https://natw.org/registration

Free Toolkit

Once registered, you’ll receive a FREE planning guide and coordinator toolkit to help you make your event a success.

Event Ideas

Any event that brings residents together can be part of your National Night Out celebration—just invite local emergency services (Police, Fire Dept. EMS, etc.) to make it both fun and informative!
