Remembering Jennifer Duty

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Jennifer Duty, Community Manager at Biltmore Place.
Jennifer was known for her kindness, warmth, and positivity. As someone who loved The Wizard of Oz, she truly embodied the spirit of “there’s no place like home”, creating a welcoming community where residents felt they belonged. We are deeply grateful for her dedication, friendship, and the lasting impact she made on our team and the community she served.
Our heartfelt sympathies are with Jennifer’s family, friends, team members, residents, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. May they find comfort in the love she shared, the memories she leaves behind, and the legacy of kindness that will never be forgotten.
We invite our team to share their favorite memories and messages in the comments as we celebrate Jennifer’s life and the sense of home she brought to so many.

Jennifer was a sweet, kind hearted person. She always wanted everyone to feel welcomed .She was funny and fun to be around. We shared some good conversations together. She was so easy to talk to and never judged you. Jennifer and I worked together with the Hall Group we worked in Compliance together. She loved her children and she loved spending time with her grandson. I will miss working with her and our little talks.
Jennifer was such an amazing soul. She was one of my Compliance Specialist at Hall Housing nearly 20 years ago. Over the years, we would occasionally reconnect, but as life often does, it got busy and we unfortunately lost touch.
I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. She will always be remembered for the kindness and warmth she shared with those around her. My thoughts, love, and heartfelt condolences are with her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.
Condolences to the family
Ms.Jennifer was a really nice lady and very laid back. We shared a few brief moments at this year’s AAHA conference. I told her how I was feeling like a “fish out of water” being a newbie to property management and she said “honey, we all did at some point, just take it one day, one person, one problem at a time.” She made me feel understood and welcomed in that moment. She will be missed.
I am sorry about the passing of the loved one Jennifer Duty. The best way to memorialize your lost one is to remember always, the personal memories.
Jennifer was another beautiful rose planted in the forever garden.
For the short time I knew her she was a really sweet and kind lady, she will be missed.
“I am saddened to hear about Jennifer passing. Sending my heartfelt sympathy to her family, friends, and teammates.”
Rest in Peace
