Pink Polos, Big Purpose!

Last October, Royal American did what it does best… showed up for the community!

Led by our Wellness Committee, team members across our corporate offices and properties came together in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month to support a meaningful cause through our pink polo initiative. The response was nothing short of inspiring. Together, we raised $500 that went directly to an organization making a real difference in the lives of those fighting breast cancer.

The funds raised through our pink polo campaign were donated to The Beautiful Gate, a small Florida-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission closely aligns with the work we do every day. Through their Living Waters Breast Cancer Financial Assistance Program, The Beautiful Gate provides direct financial support to women currently in active treatment—helping them stay in their homes, keep the lights on, and focus on healing.

Founded by Pamela Burnett, a Deltona, Florida resident and breast cancer survivor, The Beautiful Gate ensures that every dollar donated goes directly to the women they serve. Pamela shares that a $500 donation alone can prevent a utility shutoff, help cover rent, or provide critical support during weeks when treatment makes working impossible.

At Royal American, housing is more than a business… it’s the foundation of stability for the residents and communities we serve. That’s exactly why this partnership felt so meaningful. When someone is in the middle of treatment, the last thing they should be worrying about is losing their home—and The Beautiful Gate helps ensure they don’t have to.

None of this would have been possible without everyone who ordered a polo, made a contribution, or simply spread the word. Your participation turned a simple idea into $500 worth of tangible impact.

Thank you for making Royal American a place where generosity is part of who we are. We’re proud of this team!
