It’s an honor to recognize Jim Thomas, who was recently awarded by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for his contributions to conserving wildlife habitat. As our longest-tenured employee of 44 years, Jim oversees more than 2,500 acres of land at Lucky Farms for the Chapman Family. His commitment extends beyond his job description, as he works closely with biologists to perform controlled burns and create habitats where both animal and plant life can thrive. This special recognition, part of the FWC’s Landowner Assistance Program, acknowledges his significant contributions to wildlife and their habitats, a crucial effort since public lands alone cannot sustain the state’s diverse wildlife.

We are excited to welcome Page Weimer to the Royal American team as a Regional Manager!

Page brings 15 years of experience in the multifamily industry, having worked across most of Florida as well as select markets in Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Massachusetts, New York, and Colorado. While most of his career has been focused on conventional communities, he began his work in student housing, giving him a broad perspective on the industry and its unique challenges.

Outside of work, Page is an avid traveler—almost as dedicated to exploring the world as he is to his career. In 2024 alone, he visited 4 continents and 11 countries, from weekend cruises to the Bahamas to a week spent on the Costa del Sol in Spain. If it has a beach, there’s a good chance you’ll find him there.
