A momentous occasion unfolded on Thursday, July 27th, 2023, as the Panama City Housing Authority, in collaboration with Royal American Companies, commemorated the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for The Park at Massalina Apartments. This event not only signaled a significant stride towards addressing affordable housing concerns but also served as a symbol of resilience and rejuvenation for the Glenwood community in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael. The ceremony drew the presence of esteemed local dignitaries and enthusiastic community members.
Nestled within the vibrant and historic Glenwood community, The Park at Massalina Apartments ushers in a new era with its 120 meticulously crafted one, two, and three-bedroom units. The apartments cater to a diverse range of residents, including moderate-income, low-income, public housing beneficiaries, Section 8 participants, and extremely low-income households. Moreover, this welcoming community extends its arms to former inhabitants of Massalina Memorial Homes, who were displaced in the wake of the destructive Hurricane Michael. Read more
