The Event’s Committee over the past few months has been collecting donations and funds for local animal shelters in the local Panama City Area.

We are happy to announce that their Pet-A-Palooza event was a HUGE success, raising a whopping $700 along with an abundance of supplies.

Our local fur babies are so appreciative to all who generously gave and pawtnered with Street Cats, Nine Lives and Lucky Puppy, all were extremely grateful!

Dependent Care FSAs can be a valuable tool for working parents who need help with the cost of child care or adult care. These accounts allow you to set aside pre-tax dollars from your paycheck to cover eligible expenses like pre-school, caretakers, and after-school programs. By taking advantage of a dependent care FSA, you can alleviate some of the financial burden of child care or elder care and focus on what really matters to you.

In addition to the mental health benefits, exercising with a partner or group can provide you with a sense of community and accountability when you work out with friends or loved ones, you not only have someone to share the experience with, but you also have someone who can help keep you motivated and on track. This support system can make a big difference when it comes to sticking to your fitness goals and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Born in Los Angeles to Puerto Rican parents, I hold my Puerto Rican heritage close to my heart.  I grew up in Buffalo New York where I was fortunate ,  I was fortunate to be part of a thriving Puerto Rican community that filled my childhood with cherished memories during Hispanic Heritage Month. We reveled in the vibrant rhythms of Bomba and Plena, which resonated through various citywide celebrations, and immersed ourselves in the rich flavors and melodies from our homeland at Puerto Rican festivals. My mom made certain that our cultural roots remained a vital part of our household, and I’ve strived to uphold the same tradition with my family.

In 2002, at the age of 21, I made the move to Miami, where I initially felt a bit disoriented due to the city’s cultural mosaic. Nevertheless, I swiftly embraced the diversity that surrounded me. I found delight in hearing Spanish spoken everywhere I went, prompting me to quickly hone my Spanish skills. My Spanglish, which sufficed in New York, was no match for the linguistic tapestry of Miami. In 2005, I ventured into the field of property management and, to my joy, found my passion. I started with Royal American Management in 2009 as the Community Manager of Amber Garden Apartments.  As a Latina who is bilingual, I discovered that many doors opened for me.  I climbed the ladder to Regional Manager and was recently promoted to Senior Regional Director.

I am immensely proud to be Boricua! I am profoundly proud to be a Latina!
