Have you checked out our new Royal Rewards, powered by Incentco? This initiative reflects our dedication to enriching the employee experience and nurturing a vibrant workplace culture.

Royal Rewards will recognize and celebrate our team members by awarding points for birthdays, anniversaries, holiday bonuses, and special occasions such as Administrative Professionals Day and Thanksgiving.

Employees can redeem these points for gift cards to a wide variety of restaurants and stores or save them for larger experiential rewards like airline tickets or skydiving adventures.

We have received many questions on this new platform, and we wanted to take the opportunity to answer more here! Feel free to ask any additional questions in the comments.

Q & A

Q: Where do I log in?

A: You should have received a welcome email from “Royal American Rewards” on April 8th. We have also linked the URL on Dispatch under “Quick Links” – “NEW – ROYAL REWARDS”. If you did not receive an email, please reach out to hrdept@royalamerican.com.

Q: When will I get points?

A: We will be giving points for birthdays, work anniversaries, and will be adding more things in the future (Christmas bonuses possibly or peer to peer points).

Q: How much are the points worth?

A: Points are worth approximately 2.5 cents apiece. For example, 1,000 points is worth $25.

Q: Do points expire?

A: They do expire, but you have until the end of the following year before they expire, so points awarded in 2024 will expire December 31, 2025.

Q: I tried to redeem my points for a gift card, but it says I do not have enough points. Can I not redeem it there?

A: Some stores have higher minimums than others, so you may not be able to redeem at all stores until you accumulate more points. There are stores with $10 minimums, which we have found to be the least amount you can redeem at a time.

Q: Some stores’ points are worth less. Why is that?

A: Some stores, like Amazon, charge an activation fee. This fee is usually around 40 points (a dollar). Ex. If you redeem a $10 gift card it will cost you 400 points at most stores, but 440 points at places that charge an activation fee.

We are pleased to announce the winners of our “Beat the Heat” National Safety Month contest!

For the first challenge, participants were to submit a photo of their team staying hydrated with water. For the second challenge, participants were told to have fun and show a creative way to stay cool on these hot summer days.

These two photos were chosen by our judges as the winners! Both photos were provided by Windmill Farms.

Thank you to all participating properties who shared how they beat the heat. We loved your enthusiasm for this challenge!

Remember to stay cool and hydrated all summer long!

It is our honor to interview these amazing employees and hear their stories. We are excited to share with you.

This week’s milestone anniversary interview to share with you is with Kerri Toth; RAM President.

What position did you start out in at Royal American?
Regional Manager in 1997 -left company and returned in 1999 as VP of Conventional Division
Tell us a little bit about your career journey with Royal American.
Assumed President position at the end of 2008
Share a favorite memory from your time with Royal American.
There are really too many to choose from and I do not know how to narrow it down. While working for RAM I received my Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation in 2004 and finished my bachelor’s degree in 2008. A fond memory was: Reuniting with all the RAM PC corporate employees after the hurricane Michael and learning everyone was OK. Then setting up a makeshift workspace at the Boardwalk and gaining a better understanding for and appreciation for one another as we worked through hard times together. This time also included a great level of care and support from RAM employees outside of PC. Tough situation but greatly improved comradery in the company.
Share some of your interests and hobbies outside of Royal American.
I love spending time with my grown children in Denver. I enjoy traveling, hiking, the beach, boating, and my newest hobby-bird watching (showing my age-ha! ha!).
What advice would you give to someone just getting started?
Work hard, keep learning new skills, be flexible, keep a positive attitude even in the face of adversity, maintain a healthy work-life balance, take good care of yourself- work out, eat well, and get proper rest, find a mentor to help you stay on track with your goals, and most of all – do not take things personally and understand we all make mistakes -it is ok, just use it as a learning experience. These things along with being patient and kind to others will help your career flourish.

Thank you, Kerri,  for your unwavering dedication to Royal American over the past 25 years. We invite you to help us celebrate her 25 years in the comments! Thank you for sharing with us, Kerri!
