Welcome Robert Oley to Royal American
Please join us in welcoming Robert Oley, Royal American’s new Senior Vice President of Compliance. In an effort to create a more cohesive and all-encompassing Compliance Department, our formerly independent HUD and Tax Credit departments will be united. Both teams will continue to run with their current leadership intact, but will now have Robert to guide and lead them as we shift to this new design.
With over 28 years of success in the multifamily industry, Robert brings with him a wealth of knowledge, achievements, and proven expertise in the affordable housing industry. His most recent experience as Vice President of Property Operations with oversight of operations, marketing, training, and facilities & maintenance lends itself perfectly to the role he will be cultivating as support for Operations at Royal American. Throughout his career, Mr. Oley has held numerous executive positions, most notably at CREST Compliance where he served as the President for nearly five years. While at CREST he oversaw a portfolio of 300 properties with assets that exceeded two billion dollars.
Mr. Oley has received numerous industry certifications and designations including Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP), Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM®), Certified Occupancy Specialist (CSO-PH®) and Certified Specialist of Inspection – Uniform Physical Condition Standards (CSI-UPCS). Additionally, he is a respected public speaker on all aspects of affordable housing compliance management.
The Compliance Department is excited to be restructuring and organizing and finding ways to work more efficiently. Having HUD, RD and Tax Credit has been a long time coming but the time is now. I know I speak for my entire staff when I say we are looking forward to working with our HUD and RD managers and Regionals. Welcome, Rob. Looking forward to having a fearless leader.
