RAMP’s Newest Graduating Class

Rising Apartment Management Professionals

Panama City FL Graduation Ceremony

Reserve at Northshore, Lynn Haven FL

Monday, March 27, 2023

When you walked into the clubhouse at The Reserve at Northshore Apartment Homes, you immediately knew there was a celebration going on as evidenced by colorful balloons, a photo booth, a violin soloist, floral bouquets, and festive party platters.  The celebratory event was in honor of our five graduates who dedicated 210 hours to complete Rising Apartment Management Professionals (RAMP) property management training.

RAMP Panama City was our first live graduation ceremony and our first class to complete the full RAMP program including online and live training, job shadowing, a paid internship, RA University Community Manager Training, and job search readiness. Our initial 2022 RAMP training & graduation ceremony for our United States Virgin Islands participants was limited due to COVID restrictions pushing much of their experience to a virtual platform. It was a refreshing change to have the chance to offer our participants a full range of opportunities and a more personal event to celebrate their achievements.

Kerri Toth, RAM President, welcomed all guests in attendance. She also shared what a rewarding experience it was personally meeting with each participant at their internship site. Lori Agudo, RAM Training, participated virtually and gave an overview of the program and reflected on the graduates’ accomplishments.  Graduation certificates were presented by RA’s DE&I Co-Chair, Karen Larry.  After certificates were presented, each graduate shared their personal story detailing why they joined the program, what kept them motivated to continue, and their positive outlook for future employment.

Joey Chapman, Owner Representative for Royal American Companies, ended the evening with encouraging closing remarks and a commitment to support our graduates’ professional growth and development.  RAM is anticipating connecting all of our  graduates to well-suited employment opportunities.

This is an excellent company and one of the best programs I’ve participated in. It was extremely thorough, and quite rigorous with very strict deadlines. This is a good thing because it set the expectation for what we would expect once we were placed on a team.

I would like to thank all trainers who balanced the program along with their daily responsibilities. The violinist was such a beautiful touch my family and I are still raving about the event. The Reserve at Northshore really went over and beyond in their decoration. It was a beautiful event. Thank you thank you thank you! The ambience and hors d’oeuvres were truly impeccable and truly made the moment for me.

P.S. Mrs. Donna Martinez is the sweet lady who gave me the invitation to attend the internship reception. Thank you everyone for allowing me to participate and become a part of the team.
