 This week’s milestone anniversary interview to share with you is with Jeni Anderson; Director of Human Resources

What position did you start out in at Royal American?

Payroll Technician

Would you tell us a little bit about your career journey with Royal American?

I started in the Payroll Department in 2003 and transferred to the Human Resources Department in 2006. While in HR, I have held the titles of HR Assistant, HR Manager, Employee Relations Manager, and my current role; Director of Human Resources.

Can you share a favorite memory from your time with Royal American?

Obtaining my Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation from SHRM and being promoted to Director of Human Resources in 2021 were big moments for me.

What are a few of your interests and hobbies outside of Royal American?

I enjoy the beach, reading, wineries and spending time with family.

What advice would you give to someone just getting started?

Work hard and be kind because kindness is free!
