Their knowledge and expertise are pivotal in the success and growth of our company all the while staying tied to the deep roots it was founded on. It is our honor to interview these amazing employees and hear their stories. We are excited to share with you.
This week’s milestone anniversary interview to share with you is with Clemente Torres; Maintenance Supervisor, Mission Hills.
What position did you start out in at Royal American?
I started as a Maintenance Technician.
Would you tell us a little bit about your career journey with Royal American?
I started as a Maintenance Tech in October 1998. Then progressed to Maintenance Supervisor in October 2005.
Can you share a favorite memory from your time with Royal American?
Two stand out memories for me are when I won the SAMA Maintenance of the Year Award in February of 2006 and the Maintenance Award 2024.
What are a few of your interests and hobbies outside of Royal American?
I love fishing and camping.
What advice would you give to someone just getting started?
In order to succeed in this career, you have to work hard, be focused and very observant. To me, preventative maintenance is the key to having a well-maintained property.
