SENIOR SEMINAR SUCCESS  – BELLEVUE VILLAGE

On Tuesday, October 24, Bellevue Village (St. John, USVI) organized an informative senior workshop, featuring presentations and guidance from VI Ship, Senior Medical Patrol, and Legal Services experts.

This workshop proved to be an invaluable resource for the residents, offering crucial insights into a variety of important topics including

Medicaid and Medicare, Legal Services, Insurance Fraud, as well as discussions on Wills, Trusts, and Probates.

Hats off to Vera and the dedicated team at Bellevue Village  for a job well done!

The Event’s Committee over the past few months has been collecting donations and funds for local animal shelters in the local Panama City Area.

We are happy to announce that their Pet-A-Palooza event was a HUGE success, raising a whopping $700 along with an abundance of supplies.

Our local fur babies are so appreciative to all who generously gave and pawtnered with Street Cats, Nine Lives and Lucky Puppy, all were extremely grateful!

Hi! I’m Desiree Marin, the Community Manager at Suwannee Pointe Apartments.  As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, I’m happy to share a little about my cultural background and my journey with Royal American Management.

I was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, where my Puerto Rican heritage is deeply meaningful. It’s ingrained in our dance, music, and how we flavor both our food and life.

One cherished memory is the Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York during summer.  Annually, a whole day is dedicated to the celebration of Puerto Rican culture. vibrancy and unity.  Here I am wearing my pride in one of the last visits at New York. Read more

It’s time to brag on a few of our awesome communities! The following HUD/RD teams sent in their reports timely, they are on track with all of their monthly items, and they are up to date with resident status. Way to go! Thank you to all the managers that go above and beyond. It does not go unnoticed! We appreciate you.

Hi,  I’m from Uruguay, that’s one picture I love of me and my husband carrying the flag of the city I was born, Paysandú, and the jerseys of the “Club Nacional de Football”, my favorite Uruguayan soccer team, when they came to Miami to play a friendly soccer game last year.

He is not from Uruguay but I was so happy and proud that he carries my original country flag and jersey with so much enthusiasm that day, he enjoyed the party!

One of my best days of my life was my Citizenship Ceremony Day, I remember I was so proudly happy, because I was feeling like a real American, that I was one import formal part of the best Nation on the World.

This country united us and we feel we are part of One Heart and One Flag.

Being Latina for me represents the combination of many races which each one of them fills me with pride – Indian, Spanish and African make up my nationality and as Puerto Ricans we carry each of those races in our delicious food, in our customs and traditions.

I will always be proud of my roots, coming from the La Isla del Encanto, and because I am Latina and with great joy I can say: “YO SOY BORICUA , PA’ QUE TU LO SEPAS (I am Boricua, so that you know it).”

Big hug to all,

Wilmary Santiago
