Remembering Randy Stokes

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Randall Stokes, the Community Manager for Lakeside Apartments.  His hard work, loyalty, and commitment to Royal American over the past 12 years will be missed.  Randy always provided a big smile and a few good laughs.  His faith was his foundation, and he touched lives with his big personality and big heart, sharing his kindness and generosity.

We want to express our deepest gratitude for everything he devoted to Royal American.  During this time, our thoughts and prayers are with his loving family and friends.  We wish them love and comfort at this difficult time.

IMPACT by FAA

Last week, five members of our team traveled to Tallahassee for the annual Legislative Conference—now IMPACT, powered by FAA! This two-day event is a vital opportunity for industry professionals to engage with lawmakers, advocate for policies that strengthen our communities, and ensure that our voices are heard at the state level.

At Royal American, we understand the importance of staying informed and involved in the legislative process. IMPACT provides a platform for us to connect with key decision-makers, discuss issues affecting the housing industry, and work toward solutions that benefit both residents and property management professionals.

We’re proud to have had our team representing us at this event, standing alongside fellow industry leaders to drive meaningful change. Advocacy is a team effort, and by participating in IMPACT, we’re helping to shape the future of housing in Florida.

Jeni Anderson Promotion

 

We’re proud to announce the promotion of Jeni Anderson to Vice President of Human Resources!

Jeni’s journey with Royal American spans over two decades, beginning in 2003 in the Payroll Department before transitioning to Human Resources in 2006. Since then, she has grown through the ranks, holding titles including HR Assistant, HR Manager, and Employee Relations Manager before being promoted to Director of Human Resources in 2021.

Her dedication to professional development is evident in her achievements, including earning her PHR certification in 2021 and completing the SHRM Mental Health Certification Course in 2023. Through her leadership, Jeni has played a vital role in shaping our HR team and fostering a strong, supportive workplace culture.

Congratulations, Jeni, on this well-deserved promotion! Your hard work and commitment to our team make a lasting impact, and we’re excited to see all you’ll accomplish in this new role.

We’re thrilled to announce the well-deserved promotion of Sam Price to Assistant Corporate Controller!

Sam’s journey with Royal American is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and passion for growth. He began with us as a GL Tech while pursuing his accounting degree at Gulf Coast and later at FSU PC. Over the years, Sam has continuously excelled, earning promotions to Staff Accountant, then Accounting Manager, and now Assistant Controller.

Sam shared, “I’m thankful for the opportunity to keep learning and getting involved in new aspects of the business. Everyone here is so willing to share their knowledge and lessons learned, which has made all the difference.”
