RAM Regional Manager Meeting 2012
You may have seen a few familiar faces in the Panama City corporate office recently. This year’s Regional Manager Meeting was held July 11th and 12th and all regional’s and assistant regional’s were in attendance as well as Kim Hackett and Denise Ost.
Traveling from many different locations, they all arrived in PC on Wednesday the 11th and jumped into action, right after receiving a welcome gift of course. To keep the energy high, each regional’s chair had a balloon tied to it that contained a number. Throughout the day balloons at random were popped and various prizes were given out based on the numbers they held.
It was not all fun and games however. The agenda was jam packed with various topics such as budget planning, financial worksheets, minor policy adjustments, property inspections and more.
Kerri Toth, president of Royal American Management, was the first visitor and she kicked off the meeting with a welcome speech.
Wanda Sampson from the accounting department stopped in next and presented helpful tips for preparing budgets as well as providing a new budget format. The budget format was something highly anticipated and much needed. Wanda did an outstanding job presenting the new information and she left everyone very happy and pleased with the outcome for the upcoming budget season. Kudos go to WandaSampson, Kathy Vossler, and all the accounting team for being so helpful and such team players.
Our next guest was Alex with Lexus Nexus who presented a PowerPoint on upgrades and interface issues as well as treated everyone to a fabulous catered lunch from Newks! The remainder of the day was spent in a roundtable discussion of financials and budgets. Wednesday evening everyone gathered at The Firefly for a wonderful dinner to wind down from such a busy day.
Thursday began with Sunny Notimoh, VP of Human Resources to brush up on policies and new information. Wendi LeMense, Compliance made an appearance and shared new developments in her department. The regionals were then broken into two groups. One group went with Melissa Middleton, to the training area and spent a few hours training for OneSite. The other half of the group remained in the conference room and discussed various topics and questions. Everyone met back together for a pizza lunch and then the second group went to train with Melissa. The day ended with farewells and all of our regionals traveled back home. It was a pleasure to have everyone all in one place to work together for a change. Thank you all for making the trip and we hope to see you around soon!
