Rising Apartment Management Professionals (RAMP) Graduation Ceremony

The Roberts, Orlando, FL;  April 4, 2024

As graduates, guests and staff entered the community room at The Roberts, the festive decorations, food, and music signaled a celebration: the graduation of five Orlando residents from the RAMP property management training program.

Royal American Management’s RAMP journey began in 2022 in the US Virgin Islands. Following this success, RAM offered a stateside class in Panama City, FL. Orlando’s class marks the third group to complete the comprehensive 210-hour tuition-free training, which includes online and live sessions, diversity overview, job shadowing, a paid internship, Pathway to Policy & Procedure Compliance Training, and job search readiness.

The RAMP Orlando graduation ceremony opened with a welcome address by Kimberly Maggard, Executive Vice President, who provided a brief history of the RAMP program and its benefits. Lori Agudo, Director of Training and Talent Development, highlighted the program’s phases and the graduates’ achievements. Serena Jones, Communications and Marketing Manager, Orlando Neighborhood Improvement Corporation, shared insights and reflections and congratulated the participants.  Graduation certificates were presented by Sonya Knight, RA’s ACE Chair and Director of Resident Services. Each graduate then shared personal stories of motivation, perseverance, and optimism for future employment.  The evening concluded with remarks from Missy Dugas, Senior Vice President of Operations, who emphasized RAM’s commitment to the graduates’ professional growth and employment opportunities.

The ceremony was a heartfelt celebration of hard work, dedication, and bright futures. Overall, five RAMP graduates are now successfully employed with RAM.  Stay tuned for our next RAMP Kickoff event in Miami, FL, on July 11, 2024!

Royal American will be making the following changes to improve our 401K Employer Matching, effective June 1, 2024:

1) Eligible 401K contributions will be matched per pay period starting on 06/01/2024.
Contributions from 01/01/24 – 05/31/24 will be matched using the previous system and deposited during the first quarter of 2025

2) Enrollments will now be monthly instead of quarterly (Effective date will be the 1st of the month following 6 months of service)

Marketing Townhall

Our next Town Hall will take place on Wednesday, June 5th, from 10:00–11:30AM Central (11:00AM–12:30PM Eastern). Our RA University Townhall will be hosted by the Training Department and will feature Rose Clemo, Isabel Kelemina-Mudd, and Hannah Calhoun from the Marketing Department. Topics covered will include outreach marketing, resident events, social media plans, and so much more.
