In the beginning of 2018 RA rolled out the new Royal American GEM program which stands for Going the Extra Mile. This program was created in an effort to recognize our corporate employees for going above and beyond their job responsibilities. Nominations are received before the last day of the quarter and are evaluated.  They must have solid and concrete examples of why the nominator believes the nominee truly deserves this honor. It is then signed off by the nominees supervisor as well as the VP of the department. At the next Employee Recognition meeting, all nominees are given a certificate to display and they are recognized in front of their peers. A prize is also given to all nominees.
