Or Not Enough?

We are of course talking about everyone’s favorite pal, Lane Fowler with Royal American Construction.

A few weeks ago, while on vacation Lane jumped into action when a 7 year old girl began having a seizure on his flight. He helped save her life and was recognized for his quick thinking and assistance!

On the same vacation, Lane’s son ran into to tell him a man outside with two small dogs was being brutally attacked by two larger unattended dogs. They jumped into action! They grabbed a broom, raced outside, and then began fending the dogs off.  They were able to break up the situation (although the broom was a casualty).  Lane did what any hero would do and replaced it for the Airbnb with a note. The man from the attack visited him a few days later to express his gratitude for them.

As many of you know, the pandemic is ravaging Florida currently. Upon arriving home with no immediate scuffles to break up or medical interventions needing a hand Lane decided to save lives in a different way. He rolled up his sleeve and got his Covid-19 vaccination.

We are so proud of you Lane Fowler for hearing the call and making yourself available to help others.

AAGO Foundation’s Rock & Bowl Charity Fundraiser is their largest charity event hosted annually. Funds collected are distributed to our charity partners: Hatching Hope, The Sharing Center, Housd, Orlando Dream Center, and Catholic Charities of Central Florida. Lori Agudo organized a donation drive for hygiene products in conjunction with this event to be donated to three of our charity partners. The foundation collected $1700 with the 50/50 raffle and over 1000 grooming products! A total of over $12,000 was collected all together for all of the charity partners. We are proud to support this effort to help those in need!

In attendance: Maria Collier, Lori Agudo, Jennifer Douglas, Yasi Otero, Kimberly Maggard, Kirsten Weaver, Becky Hamlin, Wilmary Santiago, Corey Brooks
