Colonnade Park celebrates their Grand Opening

Green Mills celebrated the grand opening of Colonnade Park Apartments located in Inverness, Florida on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. Attendees included owners; Green Mills and management team; Royal American. City Manager Eric Williams and other elected county officials came out to show their support as well. A handful of residents also joined in the celebration including Pamela Blatter, who has been an advocate for the positive opportunities this community has had on her life personally.

Colonnade Park is unique in that it is the one of very few affordable apartment communities in Citrus County and is stand alone in design, quality, and amenities it offers to its residents. City officials have noted the housing gap in the area between affordable but substandard housing and high-end housing that is unattainable due to income in most of the county.  Green Mills is passionate about closing that gap and providing a home that residents from every income bracket can be proud to call home.

The need is so great that the property was 100%  leased-up and occupied in less than three months. Colonnade Park is described as a property with small country charm and big city amenities. It is a family community with 109 units with a mix of one-bedroom, one-bath and two-bedroom, two-bath apartments. The community boasts amazing amenities such as a pool, fitness center, game room lounge, library/computer room and a beautiful clubhouse. Colonnade Park is surrounded by nature, yet is in the proximity of shopping, restaurants, parks, and entertainment. We have high hopes for this community and anticipate more in the future.
