We have some exciting news from Royal American University!  We have launched a Teams page just for our properties! We will announce upcoming trainings, post outside learning opportunities and so much more.  You will also be able to share your success stories from your properties to include photos. We encourage you to cheer each other on and we ask that you are respectful of others. No negative comments will be allowed. Help us make this fun for everyone!!!

Some of our recent posts include articles about how Community Mangers can combat occupational  burnout, and about how leadership styles can effect your team. We will continue to post new and informative information for our communities on a regular basis.

RMs and RVPs – You are welcome to check out our page and comment as you wish 😊 This page is intended to create excitement about training and for our sites to network with each other and us in the training department. This page will not take the place of critical email communication. It is meant to be a visually exciting way for us to keep in touch with our everyday heroes – our site teams!!!

If you do not know how to access teams, simply navigate to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/log-in and use your official Royal American email to log in.  Thank you for all that you do and we’ll see you online!!!

Recently the maintenance department held their first 2021 training in Miami. The training was held at Lakeside Towers and had just under 50 maintenance supervisors in attendance. The focus was centered around the theme “Taking Care of the Physical Asset”. The day opened up with Sherwin Williams representative Jeff Jackson for breakfast. Jeff had the opportunity to discuss their product line and answer questions.  Francisco Santos accompanied Dave Kennedy during the training and they were able to cover both Spanish and English versions of the material. HD Supply rep Lisa Lavign provided lunch and was able to discuss all the services that are available through HD Supply and answer questions. Their special guest  RVP Marilyn Urroz stopped by shortly after lunch to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication to RAM. As each maintenance supervisor registered the morning of training they received a raffle ticket for some great giveaways. Throughout the day they would pick tickets at random and the winner would receive a tool. There was a great turnout and was very beneficial for our maintenance teams.

We wanted to give a Shoutout to Darrell at Edgewood! Darrell is new to the community but has already made an impact! So much so, that residents have called the RA hotline to let us know how much they appreciate him. Darrell has a can-do attitude and wasted zero time getting things in order. We wanted to let him know he is appreciated and celebrate the great job he is doing! Way to go Darrell!
