RAM was represented well last week at the 2024 Apartmentalize conference hosted by the National Apartment Association (NAA) in Philadelphia. As the most important annual gathering for rental housing professionals, this event provided invaluable insights and opportunities for professional growth.

Our team members had the privilege of hearing from subject matter experts on a wide range of topics. Sessions covered crucial areas such as rental housing operations, student and military housing, staffing, and maintenance team management. A standout theme this year was the rapid advancement of technology. Attendees delved into sub-fields such as artificial intelligence and data-reporting software, exploring how these innovations are transforming the rental housing industry.

The knowledge and connections gained at Apartmentalize 2024 will undoubtedly help our team enhance our operations and better serve our clients. We’re excited to implement the new strategies and technologies discussed at the conference as we continue to grow and improve!

Girl Scout Troop 1025:  Tomorrow’s Leaders

MODELLO APARTMENTS, HOMESTEAD FL

We are thrilled to share the inspiring story of Girl Scout Troop 1025, a beacon of community engagement and youth empowerment right here in Homestead, Florida. Our Modello Homes community is home to these remarkable young ladies, aged 5 to 17, who are guided by their dedicated troop leader, Mrs. Shyanne Jackson.  Troop 1025 is more than a Girl Scout troop; they are a symbol of our community’s dedication to the growth and development of our young people.

The troop’s older members are forging strong friendships and developing critical life skills through a variety of scouting activities and group outings. Excursions range from enjoyable visits to wildlife sanctuaries and museums to educational trips to local colleges like Florida International University, Barry University, Florida Memorial University, and South Dade Technical College. These experiences are not only fun, but they are also opening doors to future career possibilities and helping our young ladies understand the educational paths available to them after high school.

What’s particularly heartwarming is the troop’s tradition of sharing a meal at Chili’s after their field trips. This simple act fosters a sense of camaraderie and provides an opportunity for the girls to reflect on and share their experiences and learning.

We take immense pride in supporting our young leaders as they embark on a journey of self-discovery and work towards a promising future.

Their achievements are a testament to the support, and opportunities provided by their families and our community.
