Royal American was well represented at the 2025 Alabama Affordable Housing Association (AAHA) Annual Conference in Sandestin, Florida!

This yearly event brings together professionals from across the affordable housing industry to share knowledge, build connections, and strengthen our collective impact. Through seminars on development, finance, management, and maintenance, our team had the opportunity to grow their skills and stay current on industry best practices.

As Alabama’s premier affordable housing association, AAHA is dedicated to ensuring all people have access to safe, quality, and affordable housing. We’re proud to support that mission and continue learning alongside other leaders in the field.

NAA Mental Health Awareness Week is Next Week – May 19–23!

Each session covers a meaningful topic to help us navigate the emotional demands of our roles:

  • Tuesday – Fostering Resiliency through Self-Care
  • Wednesday – Day of Care (Not a webinar. A day to reflect and find a little time to take care of yourself)
  • Thursday – How to Show Up as an Ally After the Storm, featuring our very own Lori Agudo, Director of Training & Talent Development!
  • Friday – Effective Communication During a Crisis

All webinars take place at 1:00 PM CT/ 2:00 PM ET

This is an incredible opportunity to support your own wellbeing and learn how to better care for those around you — both at work and at home.
